Title: Federal Policy Advocate
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Type: Exempt / “At Pleasure”
Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer of the Campaign for Youth Justice (CFYJ), the Federal Policy Advocate is responsible for helping to coordinate and support national coalition activities, monitoring developments of the federal administration and tracking legislation in Congress.
Liaisons with: Federal policymakers, federal administrators, government statisticians and members of the non-academic research community (e.g., Bureau of Justice statistics, National Center for Juvenile Justice), national juvenile justice groups/coalition members, and CFYJ state partners and allies.
